I bought a cord that synced our camera to a ring flash. The person who helped me seemed annoyed by me. I was trying to make small talk and he was very short with me and boarder line condescending. They didn't have the cord we needed, so I paid an extra 6 dollars for an adapter. 23 dollars total. Well. The adapter shattered the instant we attached it to the cord. It was brittle and old. We needed another cord ASAP, so I went somewhere else (found it for 9.99) assuming that it would be no problem to return the cord and adapter. I went bs k the next day and they wouldn't let me return. I saw then that the receipt said "all sales final" at the bottom. I understand that they are trying to prevent traveling photographers from using equipment and returning it. But I am not a photographer nor am I from out of town. I am a stay at home local who just wanted my money back! I think that businesses who don't offer returns need to be EXTRA clear about it. The salesman didn't say anything about it, I didn't see any signs by the register. I can say with 100% certainty thT I would not have bought this cord had I known that they don't accept returns. They could have made an exception for me, but just didn't want to. The whole thing really made me sad.
