I actually was a pretty big fan of this place. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the neighborhood. There are homeless people all over the place. They live in the empty lot on the other side of our parking lot and sit outside the Circle K. We have seen domestic violence at the bus stop and some random guy beat up another resident in the courtyard and then dug for (what I assumed was a gun) in the back seat of his car. Luckily, we never saw either of them again. I never had a problem with the office, everyone in there was really sweet if we needed anything and never bugged us. I thought it was a pretty good deal for the location. I work in Tempe so it was easy to hop on the 202 to go anywhere in the Valley. The only issue with the apartment itself was the mold I had once. There were mushrooms growing in the bathroom but once I poured bleach on them, they never came back. I liked that my electric was cheap because the apartment was small. We still managed to fit a full-sized couch and end tables in there, along with a king size bed in the bedroom. I am sad to be leaving but I was looking for something a little bigger for my boyfriend and I. We never had a problem with the neighbors-the guy below us and next to us were all nice and never made any noise. Thank you for the great experience, Valencia Park!
