| - No one has written an Aritzia review at Fairview mall yet? Well i will be the first!
I have a love hate relationship with this store - the things are so pretty, but sooooo over priced, imho.. but to each person's own. It caters to the teenie popper, the trendy dresser, the classy shopper, and the casual target market as well. They carry a few lines, in addition to TNA and Wilfred that now have their own stores. It can get pretty hectic with girls swarming the place, picking up and dropping off clothes left right and centre.
I have to say that despite how busy this location is, I think their service is pretty good. It can be overbearing sometimes with girls asking you - do you need a change room, can i help you find something, etc etc etc when you want your own space sometimes. However, when you're in the mood to purchase, it can be extremely beneficial not having to hold 10 hangers as you're shuffling through all the racks.
In case you are not aware, you do have to lock up your bag before you go into the changerooms - guess there has been lots of past bad experiences with theft. This is one of those stores that a security guard is hired to stand at the front to make sure there is nothing suspicious happening.
If they don't have your size, they can always check one of their main other stores in the city. If you're a support of local clothing, some of their stuff is made in Canada so I am a supporter of that.
One downside to all this - do not be surprised if someone you know has bought the same thing as you, or you walk past someone with the same jacket.... very common occurrence.
