  • Food was worse then any of the other 5 Tupelo's I've been to. I always order the Charleston Chicken Sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese. While the sandwich was alright, the Mac and cheese was horrible! I honestly felt as if I were eating boxed Mac and cheese, little flavor and very dry. My partner got his usual Chicken Biscuits & Gravy and was very dissatisfied himself. For a $36.00 ticket the food should be enjoyable. Also, they were out of soft drinks! What restaurant doesn't have soft drinks? I plan to continue going to the one in Asheville or Johnson City. This was the worst experience for me.
