| - When I first saw Prose, I mistook it as a spa. The space exudes a sense of serenity, simplicity, and cleanliness. Completely enamored, I came back a week later to get my mani done. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and offered the choice of still water, sparkling water, and iced tea- a great start. It was the small details like this, having a sleek handle to put my bag down, to being offered a phone charger, to the option of browsing an iPad vs. magazines, that made this experience different than all my ones at other places.
I was assigned to my tech, Elizabeth, who was a delight to chat with. She told me that the salon's name "Prose" comes from the idea of 'poetry of the hands and feet' and that the CEO actually was the founder of Massage Envy, too! Cool, I dig it. At the end of getting my nails done, she also did a full-on hand treatment with the best smelling products. I left with amazing looking nails as well as soft and perfumed hands.
My only small complaint was that they had a little bit of trouble with the POS system on my way out. I'm sure they'll have it figured out next time I come in, but it was slightly annoying because I was in a rush. Minor inconvenience. For those of you on the fence, they're doing a great promotion right now which you can get a mani-pedi for $50! I already can't wait to go back.
