| - I have all the best things to say about the food and service here, but I will keep it brief.
To start, you'll get a fresh loaf of French bread with whipped butter while you drool over their menu.
The French Onion Soup was rich and cheesy as it should be.
I'm not usually big on pate, but I truly enjoyed the Chicken Liver Pate. It was rich and smooth, but not gamy, and not gelatinous.
The Mussels were big and juicy, and the white wine sauce/broth was perfect medium for the French bread.
Finally, we had the Prime Steak Au Poivre--we asked for it with mashed potatoes--and it was incredible! Perfectly medium rare as we requested, so tender, and just the right amount of peppercorn.
I would recommend making a reservation. Oh, and as a bonus, their portion sizes are definitely more in line with American portions than French portions. :)
