I attend Pittsburgh Penguins games at Consol Energy Center. I used to pay for the expensive seats until I finally purchased the cheapest seats, and I must say that even the cheapest seats have excellent views of the games. The productions on the ice and on the screen are done well, although I highly prefer that the women in the ice crew be given outfits that are more respectful to them. The food in the concession stands is slightly better than typical arena food. The building can be a little chilly, so I like to bring a hoodie with me to keep warm. I really like that the building has LEED Gold certification. Currently, I live within walking distance of the arena, but before I moved to the area, I would stay in a hotel and walk from there in order to avoid the traffic, although there is a parking lot across the street from the arena. I really miss the cute name "Igloo", but this building is much better than the old one.
