  • So cool! I absolutely loved the vibe of this place. At first I wasn't sure why we had to ring a doorbell to get in but I get it now. It all comes together. It's all part of the feel and experience of this restaurant. You walk in to a dimly lit dining room and bar and with Frank Sinatra music playing, felt like something in a movie. We got to sit in a corner booth and order our meal from a waiter with an Brooklyn Italian accent, just a very cool experience. The reason we dropped in is because we got a Groupon for a prix fixe lunch for two which included a soda, salad and entree for $20. What an great deal. The Italian house salad was fresh and dressed with zesty Italian dressing and Parmesan. I ordered the carbonara with chicken as recommended by the waiter and the lady sitting in the booth next to us and it was not at all disappointing. Creamy sauce, perfectly cooked pasta, tender chicken, peas scattered within. Yum! I wasn't able to finish it because it was quite a large serving for lunch so the waiter brought me a large togo box for me. My fiancĂ© got the meatball sub and of course I had to try it. The meatballs were huge! They were tender and so flavorful. The bread was baked to perfection and the marinara sauce that came with it was super fresh, you could just taste all the fresh tomatoes in it. This place is awesome. The experience is definitely one of a kind. If you haven't been, you have to at least check it out once. I've never been to a place like it. It's something you would expect in New York's Little Italy. What a fun place. I know I'll be back to bring my family when they visit. I know they'll get a kick out of it.
