  • This place is AWFUL. I mean, so so bad. This is the 2nd time I went. The first time was awful too, but I figured I'd try again with another nail tech. Never again. FIrst of all, the nail tech did not introduce herself, shake my hand or do anything of the sort when she came to get me from the lobby. She rushed me into picking colors for my nails and toes. Water temp on the chair got too cold too fast. Pedicure overall looks pretty good though. The manicure is what gets me. I told her I have really oily nails so the gel polish always looks like it's grown out unless you pay special attention to putting the base coat on. She did very happily do that. However, they still look grown out - as if I'd had my nails done four days ago, not 40 minutes ago. They're also lumpy and uneven because she told me the color I picked peels from the tips so she had to put extra on... what!? There was a chunk of dry polish on one nail I asked her to smooth and she simply sanded it with a nail file, and didn't use acetone or anything to remove the polish and repaint. so basically it looks like it chipped. My mind is blown. At checkout, the girl was so frazzled that she repeatedly asked me "who helped you today?" "what do you need?" she seemed so bothered to have to get my coat when she insisted i give it to her when i got there. she seemed bothered to leave a tip at the desk for my tech. at one point i think she rolled her eyes at me. she was clearly stressed, so i urged her to help other clients first, but that didn't improve her attitude with helping me. the entire time, all the employees are there buzzing around, looking like they're stirring up drama, and not paying any attention to the clients. not to mention they all look so trashy / yinzer. at one point my tech was whispering with another stylist while doing my toes and at another point she was asking the other nail tech to send her pics from the night prior. so unprofessional. I have one Living Social coupon left for this place ($30 for gel mani and pedi seemed like a great deal so i bought 3) but now that I've had two bad nail jobs from two different girls, I'll be asking for a refund on my 3rd coupon.
