  • I am currently a resident and have lived here for 4 years. Pros: It's a great location, 15 minutes away from Phoenix, Chandler, Scottsdale or Mesa. They just updated the main pool area by adding some canopies, corn hole games and hung some lights. The apartments are cozy inside. Cons: Their prices have sky rocketed since the minimal upgrade to the main pool area. For example, for my two bedroom my rent was $1055 and to renew my lease the new price is at $1195 The walls are very thin so if you have sensitive neighbors, they will call noise complaints on you. Very limited parking. You only get one spot even if you have a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment. In order to have internet installed in your apartment you have to go through Century Link (because of some sort of contract they have with the complex) and it is the worst!!! I cannot emphasize how horribly slow their internet is. I even pay for the fastest internet and it still lags and freezes. If you're a student and need internet access frequently or work from home- beware and consider this. This isn't a deal breaker but... the new grills they installed at the main pool area are shitty. They feel cheap and don't work as well as the old ones. And lastly, I just had my car broken into recently. What is even more worrisome is that I don't even park in a dark unlit part of the parking lot, I park in the area by the mail boxes which is pretty well lighted and Still someone broke into my car without being detected or caught. When I called the front office to let them know and to perhaps send out a warning email to the other tenants, the guy (Zach) who answered the phone could honestly not have cared less. No sympathy, no fucking faking it to pretend he was concerned, he just responded with "oh okay, have a great day." They never even sent out a warning email to alert other tenants/potential victims of crime. Recently, I was in the front office to get my gate key battery switched and I over heard an employee talking with potential tenants and they mentioned to her that they saw multiple reviews online about this place mentioning residents' cars getting broken into very frequently here ( I should have paid more attention to the foreshadowing of the events to come). And do you know what she said to them???? She said, "crime has no address." Yes, yes it does. And it's 7017 S Priest Dr. Tempe, Arizona. And even more specifically at the parking by the mail boxes.
