  • I had read so much about The Old Fashioned, but it was a big letdown during my visit to Madison. I ordered the trout, and it was awful - for $20, all I got was a flavorless piece surrounded by a horde of spinach and radishes (I didn't ask for a salad!). Considering how good the reviews are, I suppose the rest of the menu might be decent, but please don't order the trout (unless you don't have an appetite) if you visit.
