I wear contacts & glasses for the past 20 or so years but have not used this office a vision exam but for medical to remove a chalazion.
To be honest I don't know which Dr. Kilpatrick I saw. The office is clean, has good parking, and the staff was friendly. I was able to make an appointment within one week of calling for an appointment.
During the initial stages of the appointment the nurse had me do some basic eye tests for metrics. Dr. Kilpatrick was very nice, knew my GP (he'd referred me), and told me due to the time I'd had the chalazion it needed to be surgically removed since it failed to resolve.
He went start to finish through the procedure with me, asked if I wanted to do it today or another day, and answered all my questions. I was concerned about how much my insurance would pay so he had the staffers check on all of the financial info before we proceeded (about a 10 minute wait). He warned me the worst part of the procedure was the injection & he was right BUT was very gentle with me.
He was like a dentist, where they want to talk to you while they have their hands in your mouth. He wanted to talk to me through the procedure (5 mins tops) to keep me comfortable and got concerned when I stopped talking. Then I explained I didn't want to talk/move when he had sharp objects by my eye:) That was the only part I disliked.
The visit & experience was great, I highly recommend them for medical eye issues!
