| - I had previously only enjoyed an Easter Brunch Buffet at the hotel and the Spa until recently when I had the pleasure of attending a wedding.
Let me tell you, the Ballantyne Hotel did not disappoint. Once I was invited I decided that I was going to enjoy the wedding experience and stay at the hotel and book a spa treatment before checking out.
Upon arriving I was greeted at the front desk and was told I was upgraded to a room overlooking the golf course, sweet!
The room was so nice, king size bed, spacious with nice amenities!
Prior to the wedding we enjoyed a cocktail at the hotel bar, along with several other guests.
The wedding coordinator and/or assistant was sure to grab everyone in the bar prior to the ceremony.
The ceremony was held in one of the ballrooms but was decorated with an alter and was absolutely beautiful.
After the ceremony we were led to a downstairs area with cocktails and appetizers. During cocktail hour, we enjoyed passed appetizers and cocktails. After cocktail hour we were brought back upstairs to a ballroom, that blew my mind.
There was assigned tables, of which we received our place cards during the cocktail hour, beautiful floral arrangements on each table, a bar, DJ set up with the wedding cake displayed in the middle of the room.
We had a three course meal, salads, Entrees and dessert..and wedding cake. From the food to the service everything was amazing.
And, we all know wedding food sometimes can be blah, no, not here!
Overall I was very impressed with the hotel, staff and experience. I would highly recommend it for a special event.
