  • Lunch special: $5 chicken shawarma platter (before 3pm). I've tried this place a couple of times for lunch. There's always a line-up during lunch. I'd say the wait time is about 5-10 minutes. The food is okay, don't expect much flavour. The platter comes with a plain salad and white rice. The chicken shawarma was neither hot or fresh - which was strange because he cut it just before serving mine. I always need their 'tzatziki' sauce and 'hot' sauce, but both are still bland tasting. Salt and pepper are a must. I'll admit that it is good value for lunch at $5 flat, but that's the only thing they've got going.
