  • I recently accompanied a client of mine to her appointment with Dr. Penny. What an exciting discovery! Dr. Penny specializes in working with individuals who experience visual challenges post brain injury. I wish I would have known about her sooner. If there are other optometrists in this city that actually know what they're dealing with in these circumstances, I haven't heard of them. She conducted testing I've never seen before. Dr. Penny is knowledgeable, personable and pro-active. She has additional follow-up planned with my client and will be recommending vision therapy, which is part of her practice. My client should have had vision therapy at least four years ago but obviously no one else she saw knew what to do with her. Seriously, what a godsend. If you or someone you know has been impacted by changes to their vision after a head injury, one had better pay her a visit. April Challenge: The Underdog 4/30
