rev:text	I've used yelp for a while but haven't had the motivation to write a review myself... until today! My customer service experience was so wonderful at sportchek that I had to share. A few days ago I bought a pair of running shoes from sportchek in preparation for a 1/2 marathon. Admittedly the sales associate that day wasn't great and didn't measure my feet or anything. I was kind of left to my own devices. I ran with those shoes twice and got ridiculously painful calluses, a clear indication that they weren't the right shoes for my feet. I went back to sportchek and was immediately helped by the wonderful Patrick, and a manager whose name I sadly can't recall. They could clearly see the calluses and didn't give me a hard time at all about why I wanted to exchange the shoes-- they were aware that the original sale wasn't properly done. After measuring my feet, Patrick informs me that I have wide feet and am flat-footed, and it was no wonder the original shoes weren't doing it for me! So he helped me try on 3 different pairs and was patient as I picked one I liked. I was warned by others that since I had worn the shoes, there was no way sportchek would do anything for me. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that was not the case and they were willing to correct the mistake of the first sales associate. The only criticism I have is of their cashier Isabella-- she was quite rude and snippy with myself, and with the guy ahead of me in line. And it wasn't even a busy day! Aside from that-- amazing customer service and I will for sure go back!
