| - I would recommend coming here if it is the closest one to your house, and you have a lot of time.
The first time I came to this salon was for an eyebrow wax; now, as a walk-in, you know there is going to be a wait BUT I was not ready for a thirty minute wait as the person who does the waxing was called in from wherever she had been (home, picking up the kids, etc.). When the waxing was done, she had done a great job. So long wait time, no apologies and a great result.
The second time I came to this salon was for a mani-pedi as I had read another reviewer raving about their packages; now, as a walk-in (yet again), I knew there was going to be a wait... but the problem wasn't that the chairs were full, in fact there were multiple chairs available, it was once again that there were not enough staff to take care of the clients. This wait time, in case you were wondering, was over an hour. Yeah, over an hour I waited because I had time to waste and they were playing Law and Order SVU on their TV. I waited in the lobby area for about twenty minutes, then they sat me in a spa chair with no water in the foot area for 40 minutes until someone finally came over to help me.
I am pretty particular about my pedicures, in fact very particular, but not in a horrific kind of way-- I like french tipped, slim lines. For some reason the woman who was taking care of me couldn't quite understand what I meant when I told her I wanted the lines thinner, each time she slimmed the white down, it was so minimal that we would have been sitting there for yet another hour just whittling away at the lines until they met my specifications, so now I have thick french pedicure lines on my toesies.
I am not rating this place what I would rate it (which would be a 1) if there were a few more nail places nearby, but there aren't and they do an awesome job with the eyebrows and an okay job on the nails, with an exhaustive wait time....
I will reluctantly be returning.
