This gym is A-OK if you live in the NW, and is really WHC's flagship location in town. The facility itself is quite spacious, and includes some special amenities like an outdoor pool with poolside service from the Edgemont Grill, an adjacent infrared sauna, and tennis courts. I would say these amenities are their main competitive edge. The space also allows them to have a considerable number of exercise machines, though not the most I've seen in town. The change rooms are modern and well maintained.
If you are the type of person who can stick to a workout routine, and not plateau, you could be happy with the amenities and price point of this gym. Of course, WHC will offer you a dizzying array of options for membership, but in the end the simple truth is that long commitment is the only way to get a decent rate. Purchasing personal training packages at signup will save you money over the normally exorbitant rates. Why do it? Because for many people who can't push themselves hard this is the only way to get a body-reshaping experience at a normal gym.
