I had to have a cyst surgically removed and everything went great, until after the surgery. Nobody cared to make sure that my insurance works with the physical therapy office, that is connected to the doctors office, where i was supposed to recieve a splint and physical therapy. They took off the cast i was in, sent me to the physical therapist only to learn that they don't work with my insurance, sending me on a wild goose hunt for a therapist and a splint provider. The receptionist then informed me that i could not recieve physical therapy or a splint. So they sprung an over priced brace on me that can easily be bought for $50 dollars cheaper at CVS. She then told me the brace was refundable for when i find a place (which i eventually found without their help) that will work with me and my insurance. I return to get my stitches removed as well as return the brace and that same receptionist told me it was not refundable. I tried to be as calm as i could be, i even went to the receptionist after i spoke with her supervisor and apologized for my attitude, but she decided to give me a snarky remark and an attitude. Her supervisor told me that CVS WAS AN OPTION THE WHOLE TIME. For the next 5 or so weeks i do not have use of my RIGHT and DOMINATE hand. What makes you think it's ok to tell a patient that CVS was always an option when it's not really a medical grade splint nor was approved of or recommended by the doctor. Im baffled by the lack of care for their patients. If you're looking for good pre surgery care, this is your place, but if you want as good after care, this is not the place for you. Do not recommend.
