| - My friends frequent Salud & they really love the smoothies and "bowls" so I decided to check it out the other day. I'm a vegan, and the menu was filled with many great options, all of which I could enjoy. I ordered the Green Anna smoothie and my friend got the Racer's Edge. The Green Anna was delicious! I couldn't believe how good is was! I make smoothies every day for breakfast, but that one was so good that I started to mentally add up the cost if I were to order one from Salud EVERY day, instead of making my own! :) (But, at $8/smoothie that idea quickly went out the window!) They do have their "petite" size for just under $5, but that's more of an in-between meals snack or good after a workout & their "regular" smoothie, just under $8, is def a meal replacement. It was so filling and took about an hour to drink and I was full for 3-4 hours :) My only cons would be: 1. It takes several minutes to make each smoothie, because they make it right in front of you, so if there is a line (like what happened to me) you can expect to wait awhile. 2. It's small inside. When it's busy, it's not a comfortable space to hang out. 3. Two drinks I've tried and would avoid: Racers Edge smoothie and hot chai. Both were very bland and tasteless. 4. With the blenders running it's super loud, so I wouldn't go there just to sip your drink and chill afterwards. Overall, I think Salud is a GREAT spot! I haven't tried their "bowls" yet, but they looked very good ($9/each tho). I will definitely be back again soon!
