Bally's is a great hotel for the value. It's right in the middle of the strip, it's nice, it's cheap and they even just renovated many of the rooms! It's connected to Paris and is a very short walk. You don't even have to leave the hotel/casino since they have a connecting hallway. Their casino is large and has a lot of different slots and games. There's also a quick service food court and a couple of small restaurants. They're not the best, but again, Paris is just a short walk away where they have plenty of delicious sit down restaurants as well as a great quick service food court.
Be aware that all the hotels on the strip charge a resort fee of about $20-$30/night. It's just another way for the hotel to add on more fees but every hotel on the strip is doing that now so you can't really escape it.
The staff is really friendly here and I've never had a problem with anything when I've stayed. I've been here about four times and every time it's been great. It's my go-to hotel on the strip when I'm looking for a quick last minute trip to Vegas since it's affordable yet nice at the same time. Other hotels like the Quad, Luxor and Excalibur definitely aren't as nice and/or have awful locations.
If you're trying to do Vegas on a budget but still want to be in a great location in a nice hotel, Bally's is definitely the spot for you!
