  • I have shopped at this store (sparsely) for about 3 years now. The very first time I bought and wore a Brooks Brothers shirt made me a believer in the difference in quality craftsmanship in garments. I used to only buy my shirts from popular mall brands such as Banana Republic, Mexx, and even Moores. While those shirts are also of good quality (except Mexx), I much prefer shopping at Brooks Brothers. The Store & Staff: First off, the store is not overly large (a good thing!) and is populated with genuinely friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff, who are also well-dressed, by the way! The store is clean, breathable, well put-together, and polished - just like their clothing. Even if I am not looking to buy anything, I still like to drop by if I'm in the area just because it's a pleasant store to visit. The Garments: I admit I have not purchased anything other than dress shirts for the office. The shirts I bought 3 years ago are still being worn by me today, and look nearly as new as the day I bought them. They are incredibly durable, easy to wash, easy to steam-iron, and fit amazingly well. I've found the shirt sizing to be very consistent if you stick within the same product line. Once you know your shirt size (collar, sleeve length, and fit), you just tell the staff and they direct you to the product that fits you. Their staple non-iron dress shirts are great value and are a staple in my wardrobe. Their Oxford line of dress shirts are an upgrade in quality, don't let the increased price-tag scare you. The fabric is softer, richer, warmer. The dyes / patterns are more interesting and unique. The buttons are mother-of-pearl buttons which I found to be a nice touch, reminiscent of a custom-made shirt. I have not indulged in too many of the Oxford shirts, but they are worth the price indeed. Just a tip, go for the Slim Fit first, it most definitely will look better on you. From what I've seen, the suits, blazers, pants, and footwear are of high quality, though I have yet to purchase any. My wife is a fan of the ladies professional wear. Closing Remarks: I highly highly recommend anyone who is getting into a profession career to do themselves a favour and pick up a shirt or two to try. You won't be disappointed, and your superiors will take notice (a good thing).
