| - WOW! Why would I ever get a tattoo anywhere else?
Both the wife and I headed in to Revolt to have Joey Hamilton put some ink on us. In fact, we scheduled our anniversary trip around this event. We figured it would be fun and we'd get a good tattoo, but we had no idea how much better it turned out to be.
This was my first tattoo, but I have been waiting and planning for years. I wanted something honoring my time as a Marine, and I wanted it in a very specific style (trash polka). For my wife, it was some Korean flowers (also called Rose of Sharon) down her leg covering up a small blown-out tattoo on her calf.
Joey was great, and so was everyone in his shop. Everyone was extremely nice, very sociable, accommodating, and professional. And the ink. Oh, the ink. I'll upload picts of our tattoos, but I can't even begin to describe how happy I am with mine. I don't think that I have ever seen anything like it. I came in with an idea, but Joey took and made it so much better that I couldn't even believe it.
I can't wait to go back. We are already planning more tattoos from these guys - Joey, Walter (Sausage), Chris, anyone. I am convinced that they have accumulated the best in the business over there at Revolt Tattoos.
Quick edit: I added our photos to the Revolt Tattoos page on Yelp. Mine is the Trash Polka style (red and black with an eagle, globe and anchor), and the wife has a line of flowers down her calf with some purple hazy clouds and negative space. Check them out. They are incredible...
