Go to Yelp or some of the other review sites and look this place up and you'll think, OK this place seems pretty good. All I can say is that it is amazingly over rated.
We with started garlic knots . . . Bathed in butter. Not what I call a good start. We decided to make up for the bread with an appetizer of Calamari. It came out over breaded and with a rubbery texture. The sauces were tarter (can you say bottled), and marinara that was close to ketchup.
For the main course I had Salmon. It was not well prepared and two carrots with mostly potatoes were what was supposed to be a vegetable side. My son had veal piccata which again was bathed in a lemon butter. Has no one learned that you can't cover bad food with butter and lemon? His vegetable was the same as mine so nothing to rehash here.
I know we're in Las Vegas and meals are inherently expensive on the strip, but the quality and value of what we received was horrible. It belongs in the fast food chain category, not Las Vegas. The Venetian / Palazzo should be ashamed for having such a restaurant in their venue compared to the other wonderful establishments they have on site.
Run, don't walk past this restaurant to one of the other gems on site.
