  • I typically don't write reviews or rely on them in choosing a particular service but I made an exception in both case when I selected MDG to re-landscape our front yard. There are so many supposed landscape companies in the valley that it was hard to know where to start looking. I contacted a couple of companies advertising in our locally community newspaper and found they were really just landscape maintenance companies that did other landscape work like irrigation, hardscape and lighting as an added service. Little or no thought given to sight layout, hardscape design or plant recommendation/placement. My daughter suggested visiting Yelp's website and after reading a number of reviews for landscape companies one clearly stood out from all the rest. Meise Design Group. Virtually all the reviews had 5 star ratings but more impressive was the level of detail people shared about their experience with MDG. OK, I thought. Let's see what these guys are all about so I called to arrange an on-site meeting to get a feel as to whether these guys could meet my needs. It's probably important at this point to admit that I am somewhat demanding, very particular, process oriented and, as a result, like to be involved in the details. Further more, after 50+ years of home ownership I consider myself somewhat of a self educated landscape expert. I humbly admit all this after working arm in arm with these guys ( Andrew, Eddie, Ryan) for almost a month on my project. These brothers are the consummate landscape company in all respects, bar none, no exceptions. If you want the very best then you've come to the right place. Trust me you will not be disappointed, or surprised. Customer oriented, quality of work, professional, competent, timely, communicators, work ethic, etc al. I could go on and on about how great these guys are. If you can trust the opinion of an old guy that doesn't believe in or write many reviews, these guys are the real deal. They do it all and they do it the best. Period!
