Friday afternoon, hubby found our ancient water heater had bursted on one side and leaked water that covered roughly half of our garage where it was located. He was able to get the leak to stop but now we were without hot water. He called our home warranty company for help but being so late in the afternoon, they needed to pick up our case the next morning.
Mid-morning today, Saturday, we received a call from Lawson Family Plumbing wanting to schedule a time to come out. I had to call back twice but each rep I spoke with were incredibly nice and easy to talk to. We agreed on a timeframe of 3 to 6pm and our tech, Vic, called within 2 hours of me initially setting the time to ask if he could come sooner. WELL YES OF COURSE! He ended up coming over about 90 minutes sooner than scheduled.
During the initial visit, we found out that there was an additional charge we weren't aware of that our home warranty didn't cover, which was the removal and disposal of the old water heater. Thankfully, it was reasonable and didn't put us in financial hardship.
As hubby and I expected, our ancient water heater needed to be replaced. Once that was determined, Vic left to pick up a new water heater and came back to install it. Total time spent was about 2 and a half hours. Vic worked quickly and cleaned up really well, like he was never there. He was also incredibly nice and easy to talk to, much like the reps I spoke with over the phone.
Thank you home warranty company for sending angels from Lawson to help! Now that this ordeal is resolved, I can proudly recommend them for your plumbing needs.
