  • And yet again, extremely disappointed to the point of no return. TO ALL WHO NEED A DERMATOLOGIST: Do NOT ever go to A to Z Dermatology! Ever! I'll stick to the facts, and you'll see why. My opinion isn't even needed for this post to be extremely obvious as to never step foot in their door. - Initially go and Amanda Taylor as stated below comforted me in the fact that whatever was wrong with my skin had nothing to do with pesticides as my PCP had initially thought. - To tell me as referred below that if it went away when she initially "treated" me, then I shouldn't have to worry about it unless it happens again. - It would take 2-3 weeks for her to receive approval from my insurance. They did in fact call me after the fact that I had called them and made an appt. I continued to call for the last 4 weeks to make an asap appt bc it skin condition was getting worse. Obviously, the treatment before the diagnosis was like putting the carriage before the horse. - Up until this week, I had called and called continually to not get even a answering service or a receptionist. Which is approx. 3 1/2 to 4 weeks. Finally I get a hold of a receptionist yesterday, who was advised by Amanda, most likely if I had something that was up in the air, she would send me to urgent care. - I receive a phone call today saying she is cancelling and that I can either wait till Th. for another appt with someone else that had been set, or I could go to urgent care. - I went to urgent care, I asked for two opinions so I can feel more confident about waiting to see a dermatologist. -One of the drs not only told me that Amanda Taylor was wrong to ever refer me to urgent care since they are acute care, but that I needed a dermatologist (obviously) but also as soon as possible. Along with telling me she was flat out wrong for doing such, he told me, not recommended, but told me I needed to find another dermatologist, because A to Z was not doing their job in the sense that I OBVIOUSLY need to see a skin specialist. The second dr and nurse in the room agreed as well. - So I have been having this skin condition for over 3 months, and half of that time, I've been wasting my time trying to get in to see Amanda Taylor since she told me I was going to be ok, that she went to school for this, and that I needed to trust her. Now my opinion: If you're ignorant enough to trust the above as a patient, you might also need to find a psychiatrist. I probably need one since I feel as though I'm going crazy. Please, learn from my mistakes and don't torture yourself by trying to stick with the same "professionals". And if it just so happens you are referred to her or this place (the owner JUST messaged me today after 7 weeks of no help and after my appt was cancelled as well today), kindly but firmly demand for a different place. These are my final thoughts of this place. No more corrections or excuses. There is no professionalism in regards to A to Z Dermatology.
