  • Having lived in Beijing for 11 years, I feel qualified to comment on Chinese restaurants with some amount of authority. It gives me great pleasure to recommend Bund Shanghai Las Vegas as a special destination for Shanghai cuisine. Recently, I joined a Chinese couple and another Chinese friend for a sumptuous dinner with at least 12 dishes. Of course we enjoyed the delicious Shanghai dumplings with the embedded meatball and "broth". Newcomers are advised to permit the broth to seep out a bit before devouring or your tongue will pay a burning price. Not spicy, just temperature hot. The garlic spare ribs are truly special and the small appetizer cucumber salad dish offered the unique flavor of Sichuan peppers. Yum! Highly recommended. Not "fine dining", but great for families. It appeared that I was the only Caucasian in the house that night - a very good sign. Enjoy!
