  • Called these people to come out & do a routine maintenance on my air unit last week. They asked if I had an issue & I said no, but it's been a couple of years & I think it's probably time to service the unit, since it's so hot here in AZ & A/C units really get a workout here. The receptionist or whoever said they usually do tune ups in the early spring- it's now early June- I told her I still wanted one, June or not. They have a $29 special offer on their website for a 15 pt tune up that is good through JULY 1st, 2013. I told her I wanted that $29 service. She finally put me down for an appt for the following week. The day of the appt I had a block of time from 11 to 3 pm. At 2:30 pm no one had showed up so I called them. I gave the receptionist my name and asked if the tech was still going to make it out. She put me on hold and then some man got on the phone identifying himself as the owner. He claimed he had called me early in the morning and left a message that a tech would be at my house at 11 am. I told him I NEVER got a phone message and no one had showed up to my house. He insisted he had called and left a message, well, I never got a message- no one called my house that day and again, no one showed up. Instead of rescheduling the appointment, the man basically said that since I had missed my appointment I was out of luck. I asked him what he meant, he wouldn't reschedule the appointment for me? He stated that as of 'today, they weren't taking any more AC tune up appointments as it's too late in the year and I missed out.' I said, 'so you won't reschedule me an appointment for this service tomorrow or the next day?' He said, 'No, they were 'done' with tune ups.' I said to him, 'you must be kidding? You have an online coupon that offers a $29 tune up service until JULY 1st!!' He stated that they were going to pull that promotion offline. Well today, that promotion is still online! OMG I can't believe a business owner would have the audacity to tell a customer that!!!!! I'm a paying customer- who says you can't get your AC checked out in June???? Too late in the year? Apparently AC Solutions does. I'm very disappointed that someone would do business this way. Very disrespectful and downright crappy- it just seems like they don't want to mess with small jobs for $29. Well, my advice is DON'T OFFER $29 SPECIALS then. I wasted my whole day waiting for these people- and apparently if I hadn't called them I'd still be sitting and wondering and waiting.
