| - Trying to buy anything in advance is difficult when you're in the military and getting relocated, especially when you have no solid address. After researching memory foam mattresses, I was pretty set on the Amerisleep Liberty - supposedly great for side and combo sleepers. I really wanted to take advantage of their Memorial Day promotion, but it was looking like I wouldn't get my shipping address until after it ended. I decided to try their online chat to see if they could offer any assistance and spoke with Ashlie G. Ashlie was quick, courteous, and completely took care of everything. From answering my questions to finding solutions and even offering to follow through with the second part of the process (which normally I would've had to go through the chat/phone again), she couldn't have been any better. Great experience so far, but I'll have to see about the mattress itself. Updates to come!

When I finally got my mattress I was so excited to try it out. It was difficult waiting the recommended time for it to fully expand and I will admit that I did sit on it a few times while it was still unraveling in the plastic covering. Sleeping and lounging on it is soo incredibly comfy. BUT! I got super overheated. I chose Amerisleep based on reviews from multiple sources stating that it was one of the coolest memory foam mattresses. If this is the coolest, the other ones probably feel like hell. You know how if you leave the bed for a few minutes then come back it's a little cooler? Well with this mattress I left for 20min and came back to an equally steaming hot surface. It felt like the bottom of an overheated laptop. I tried to stick it out for a few more days, but nothing changed. I contacted CS which had been great so far, but the gentleman I talked to this time around was not my favorite. I mentioned that I really loved the mattress, but just couldn't get over the heat so I would have to reluctantly return it. He, in turn, made a statement that their mattresses are the most cooling so if theirs didn't work then memory foam mattresses weren't meant for me. Uhh...ok?
Overall, definitely worth a try!
