This is a review of the auto service department, not of the retail store.
While I probably wouldn't take my car in here to get any major work done, I've never had any issues when getting minor repairs sorted out. The latest issue I had with my car was dealing with a leaky battery. While I was able to clean off some of the corrosion myself, I decided that it was about time I have it replaced so I took it to Canadian Tire.
First off, when I arrived the front desk employee was able to answer all of my questions and was able to accurately predict when my car would be ready. I didn't feel at all like he was speaking to me condescendingly or taking advantage of the fact that I have little knowledge about the inner-workings of cars.
When I came to pick my car up, the process was quick and easy. They gave me a rundown about the warranty of my new battery and explained what to do if it gives me any trouble in the future. I found the whole process very reassuring. While no one likes dealing with car trouble, at least I know that this is a place I can take my car with confidence.
