Look out colonel - there's a new (Korean) kid on the block.
(This review won't cover the grocery store side of the store - although I was very impressed by some GIGANTIC apples!)
H Mart does Korean fried chicken wonderfully. I recently shared a large honey garlic/green onion box of fried chicken (~$20) and the two of us had plenty leftover. (We totally could have shared the small one.)
Inside, there's a small counter facing the street where you can eat, but this isn't really a sit down place.
The chicken is made it fresh (it only took 10 minutes) and it was totally worth the wait. They boxed it up in a cute little cardboard box with a handle and it came with a can of pop (that sat inside the box! Shoutout to whoever designed this box. Gold star.)
The honey garlic sauce sank to the bottom but I actually appreciated the less saucy ones on top. They garnished it with a very generous portion of sliced green onions on top. It was hot and crunchy, and the chicken was juicy. Yum.
