| - As a business owner, I understand problems inevitably arise, and therefore I don't judge other business on whether or not problems occur, but rather on how they deal with them...
With that being said, I have found the front desk staff to be very kind and helpful which is why I'm just now writing this review. I was really hoping they would right their wrongs, however, now it's just getting ridiculous.
I've lived in Mosaic Apartment Complex in Scottsdale AZ for 3 months. I moved here from Michigan and therefore was unable to do a physical walkthrough of the apartment complex before moving. However, I spoke to the staff, saw the reviews/pictures online, and felt comfortable making the move. The apartments were marketed as "Luxury Apartments" so I assumed minimal risk... BIG MISTAKE.
The day I moved in, there was a large hole in the ceiling above the bathroom sink in my bedroom. I was told they were fixing the plumbing and the hole would be filled soon. 2 months later the whole was still there. It was a little annoying but not annoying enough for me to complain.
One day while I had guests visiting from out of state, I get a knock on my door and to my surprise, it's "pest control". They then proceed to tell me, "they are here for the rats". I laugh and say I think you've got the wrong apartment to which he replied, "do you have a hole above your bathroom sink", I said, "yes", to which he replied, "then you have rats"....
So for the last 2 months, I had been sleeping with a hole in my cieling the size of a car tire thinking they were fixing the plumbing and the whole time there were rats in the ceiling and NO ONE TOLD ME!!!!
What if I were brushing my teeth one day and rat fell through the huge hole? What if I were sleeping and that happened?
It's one thing to have rats in your "luxury apartments", but when they pretend the problem doesn't exist in hopes you won't find out, it's another issue completely.
Also, since moving here, I haven't had a working dryer for more than 7 days in a row. I have submitted 6 requests to fix it, 4 of which were answered (of course it took them 72+ hours to answer if they ever answered at all), and all of them were unsuccessful long term. It works for a couple days and then breaks again. I requested a new washer a month or so ago with no success. I travel 2 - 3 weeks a month for business so coming home to no dryer is a pain in the ass. The crazy part is that as I type this message, IT'S STILL BROKEN!!!
Again, as a business owner, I understand problems come up and it's how you deal with those problems that define your company. Mosaic Apartments in Scottsdale has done a HORRIBLE job at fixing their issues so far.
I could name 4 or 5 other specific instances to support this claim but for the sake of time I'm not going to do that.
Long story short, DONT LIVE HERE.

If you're still considering moving here, make sure you visit in person before you move because their online marketing is very deceitful. In reality, the apartments look NOTHING like they are portrayed to look online. Again, it's says "luxury apartments", but that couldn't be further from the truth.
