  • Yes, this place totally lives up to the hype! Their baguettes are delicious - probably the best in Pittsburgh of all the ones I've tried (yes I think they surpass La Gourmandine in quality) - and I LOVE their sweets. They are perfect if you believe that pastries should be an ideal balance between sweet, buttery, and salty, and not just driven by cloying levels of sugar as so many other bakeries' pastries are. Also, Legume serves Five Points' bread. Smart choice, Legume. The atmosphere is lovely and the people at the counter have been very nice. I only wished I lived closer!
