My girlfriend's car was towed from my apartment complex for parking under the wavy piece of tin that requires a sticker for you to do so. There were 15 other ordained tin-spots open for anyone who wanted such a glorious place to put their car at 12 o'clock in the morning but unfortunately she broke the rules and had to pay the price: $374 in cash. ($80 of which were for the "storage fee" since it costs that much to take care of a scion sized piece of dirt for two days while someone scrapes up money from friends and family.) We made it out to the car as he was towing it and he couldn't have been a worse person. "YOU should have told her not to park there. You could have parked THERE or THERE." Pointing at all the freshly vacant uncovered spots. Total assh**e. Thanks for putting the good karma out there. She had been parked there for 90 whole minutes and came out as soon as she heard her car bleeping from him towing her pleading for him to cut her a break since she doesn't have very much money laying around for such things. "Once it's on the truck there's nothing I can do." Bulls**t. Even cops let people go sometimes. ----- I do have to say, and this is why they're getting a 2 from me, the lady at the office and the guy in the yard were very understanding and kept things cool as my girlfriend took it up the a** from their weasely shyster company, even though they should be ashamed of themselves for even helping such a predatory company operate. As for the driver himself, I hope he outlives his children.
