  • A friend and I stopped by the hotel for a bite by the pool. We are locals who have patronized the hotel, restaurants, spa and trainers for several years. Additionally we have referred friends and relatives and business associates. On the occasion of our recent visit we were informed that we were not welcome to have lunch at the pool because we were not paying guests or spa users on that day. This establishment sent a strong message to us that they do not want to welcome their locals in the community. We will not be returning for anything at this hotel and will inform those we know to follow. In the competitive restaurant and hotel scene here in charlotte they made a huge mistake turning away revenues from their locals.
