| - This place is not consistent. It all depends on who you get. I believe the 80-20 rule applies. 20% of the staff are good at what they do. I have used them for Driver's License and had a good experience. Title and Registration, not so much. I took over my Mom's van and tried to register in AZ. My Mom lives in CA. One lady I worked with said everything was good, but I needed an "E-number" from the bank, so I got that and came back, and the lady helping me when I came back took a look at the paperwork and decided that my Mom needed to be present. I explained that all the signatures are there--after express mail back and forth--but she insisted on her presence or a Power of Attorney. Ended up going to EZ-Title. No problems there, and so much friendlier and helpful. So, I have to ask...why pay a convenience fee at GG&D? If you're going to offer an alternate service to the DMV, you need to be more knowledgeable about the service you offer, offer better service, and go the extra mile. Would people pay a convenience fee if they get the same blank look, the same uncaring attitude, the same "I hate my job" attitude? At GG&D, you get the same pick-a-number (it wasn't working when I went there) and wait system, the same uncaring people with lousy attitudes. Sure, the lines are shorter, but it's not worth the convenience fee for the crappy service you get.
