It starts out great with the only real highlight, and that was the sales calls from Lauren. She was nice, accommodating, and seemed to go out of her way to get things set up.
Thats all the good stuff......
The movers who showed up (allegedly) stole from me. Now when I say (allegedly) stole, I don't mean accidentally put something on the truck that was not supposed to be there, or left something behind. No i mean they went to a room in my house that was off limits, rooted through the things in there and (allegedly) stole some of them.
Once I discovered the (alleged) theft ( after the truck had left) I called New Planet, and in a shocking bit of news Lauren who ALWAYS answered on the first ring, now was suddenly out of the office. The new employee was named Farah ( I believe) and was just inept. She had no idea what was going on ( or maybe she did and was just playing dumb), was not surprised her crew (allegedly)stole from me, and really offered no assistance as I had no proof ( other than the missing items and a police report......) After being promised numerous calls back none of which ever happened, and days of leaving messages Moses finally called me back. He told me he could not accuse his guys of theft, as I did not have any proof, then accused me of lying about the (alleged)theft of $70.00 worth of stuff. Then he told me he was going to hold my items hostage until I paid the full amount of the move, which I had to pay before I could examine my contents to see what else was stolen. He did refund me $70.00 to compensate me for the (alleged)theft, but it was only after 36 inbound phone calls to New Planet, and that is according to my call logs on my phone.
So to summarize, liars, (alleged)thieves, deadbeats, and poor communicators are employees here, and if you value your possessions, time, sanity, and self respect then you should avoid these charlatans at all cost.

Moses just called me and harassed me regarding this review. He said it as unfair that I wrote a bad review after he "worked with me" which is how he saw refunding me the $70.00 for the items that were stolen from me. The hours that I spent dealing with this? Not his problem. The fact they demanded to be paid in full with cash or a cashiers check before I could examine my property for further theft? A perfectly reasonable request from a honest and reputable mover in his mind. After almost 8 minutes of him harassing me I asked him why he called. He then went on to tell me Karma is a bitch, and it will come around to bite me, and his lawyer is going to contact me about A YELP REVIEW. Then he hung up on me.
