rev:text	Hugo's Cellar is very old school. Even though it was late on a weeknight, they still seated us and were very friendly. It's downstairs in the Four Queens, and although the casino is bright and loud, the restaurant is quiet. They hand you a rose when you get there. After sitting down they suggested the raspberry lemon martini and it was EXCELLENT! Make sure you have some of the complimentary bottled water to go along with your alcohol because they don't skimp on drinks. While you're at it eat some of the cheese toasted lavosh or buttered rolls. There were some other families there celebrating birthdays and no one was really dressed up. They make your salad table-side and with a huge array of toppings to choose from. I had tiny shrimp on mine and honey-walnut vinaigrette. They had to warn me against eating too much of it because we had a lot more food coming. We got the crab cakes for an appetizer and I'm sure they were the best I ever had. Definitely try them with the aoli sauce. After that they gave us raspberry sorbet in tiny cones to cleanse the palate. My favorite part of the whole night was the server's accent. I felt like I had gone back in time to Old Vegas. For my entrée I had the raspberry chicken, it came in a fantastic cream sauce with white and green asparagus and roasted garlic whipped potatoes. My date had duck with mandarin oranges and wild rice, also fantastic. Or course I took home the leftovers of both and ate them the next day for lunch. We planned on getting the bananas foster for dessert but were too full. They also give you chocolate covered strawberries, apricots and figs with a whipped cream. The figs are awesome! I definitely recommend this place for a nice date or family celebration. Super service and excellent food.
