I stayed at Home2 Suites in Champaign last night. I have a few comments I'd like to share with you.
First off, the front desk was kind enough to let me check in early. I dropped my bags off and didn't return until close to 10pm.
It was a long and exhausting day. I couldn't wait to get to sleep. Sadly, my bed linens smelled like someone else. And the pillows also had a body odor. I would have called the front desk but was too tired to wait for someone to correct this issue.
In the morning I couldn't wait for a shower. I needed to wash off the shared linen smell. Sadly, there was hair on the shower floor and shelves. Not a lot. But enough to comment to you.
I noticed that you offer a quick cleaning and a through cleaning. Aren't rooms throughly cleaned after a guest checks out? Are linens and pillows laundered? Seemed like this was not done in my room.
I must add, that my initial reaction to the room is that it was tidy. But tidy isn't necessarily clean.
That being said, the staff was pleasant and helpful.They gave me directions and offered extra tea in the evening. I had coffee and oatmeal for breakfast. They were also good. You have a good location.
