| - Got the loco moco and really enjoyed it! Salty beef patty, but nicely charred. White rice, with a thick gravy sauce, and two eggs -- which we opted for over easy. Love that gooey yolk! We ended up getting this dish twice, on separate days, once for takeout since we were in a hurry, and once for dine-in. Open 24 hours, conveniently located in Planet Hollywood. They give a lot more rice and gravy for the dine-in plate, which is expected.Everyone can kind of slap a dish together for takeout, but presentation would count more for dining in. Either way, delicious, and thoroughly enjoyed. Especially on a cold night, this was really warming and comforting.
Another time, I got the egg white omelette with cheddar cheese/tomatoes. Nothing special about this meal -- more scrambled than an omelette, but the french fries were thin and crispy, with a little batter on them. Sourdough bread slice with butter and jam rounded out the meal. Hearty enough to start the day or afternoon, or a late night snack. You get hungry pretty quickly thereafter with this meal.
Both dine-in service and take-out are really friendly. Hostesses are always greeting you or saying goodbye, answering questions I had about the menu, etc. We were given to go water cups while we waited for our take out order.
Our server, Nathan was super nice, came by multiple times to either check on us or clear our plates. Was tentative to my husband's drinks and whether he wanted more. Never rushed us -- it was not busy at either time we stopped by, and it was a very large space with plentiful tables.
It was an open air type of restaurant though, so you could always smell smokers passing by.
