  • Don't get me wrong - Primanti's is a Pittsburgh staple, and nothing beats going here at 1 AM after a night at the bars and grabbing a sandwich and suds, but this place is what Pittsburgh is known for and the city is moving in a different direction. I will always cherish this place and I recommend trying it at least once so you can say you did it, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. If you are going I recommend a cap with cheese or a fish colossal fish sandwich. I do still find myself wandering over on Friday's during lent.
