  • I came across this location after scarfing down a sandwich at Heidi's Brooklyn Deli (see previous review of the aforementioned sandwich). It is essentially just kitty-corner to Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers. After seeing all of the awesome reviews from my fellow Yelp'ers, I reached out to them via Yelp. Nathan responded to my message via Yelp instantaneously. I'm sure the dude isn't sitting at a desk waiting for the next message to come in via Yelp, but he responded immediately (within a couple of minutes). No joke. I asked him about pricing which he gladly furnished to me and also told me about a coupon I could find on their website. SCORE! I headed over to their location after work this evening because I really have no life and getting an oil change on a Friday evening is my idea of fun. How sad. I was guided into the garage and ordered up an oil change and tire rotation. If you've never been to a Valvoline location, they check everything. Air filter, windshield washer reservoir, wipers, etc, etc. So I sat in my vehicle, I was offered a cold bottle of water and they essentially had the oil change done in about 10-15 minutes. A lot of people give these quick oil change places a bad rap. "How can all of the oil finish draining in less than 10 minutes?" If you've ever changed your own oil, you'll know that you can remove the drain plug, go grocery shopping, put a coat of paint on your house, go for a 10-mile run & call your long lost relative in Boston all before the oil pan has drained in its entirety. It's a quick oil change place which would lead most to believe, their goal is to get you in and out of their garage as quickly, efficiently and accurately as humanly possible. I am satisfied that my oil pan was drained sufficiently during the time my vehicle was in the garage bay. So, as I was saying, the oil change was complete in 10-15 minutes which is pretty damn good if you're looking to take care of this necessary evil on your lunch break or any other time of day when you're pressed for time. Once the oil change was complete, I stepped out of my vehicle into their waiting room as I awaited the completion of my tire rotation. I did not get the name of the gentleman who did the rotation, but I watched him on occasion from the waiting room. I have aftermarket wheels on my truck and he treated my vehicle (and my wheels) the same way that I do when I have to perform this task in my garage at home. He carefully took each wheel off and on and even set each of them aside so they would not get scratched or dinged as he was rotating them. Very awesome service. The waiting room is clean. The garage bay is clean. The service is friendly. The staff is knowledgeable and caring. Normally, at these kind of establishments, you tend to see them hire high school seniors who are more concerned about the biology homework they have piling up at home rather than your new truck (DISCLAIMER: No offense intended to any high school seniors reading my review) Anywho, it was a nice breath of fresh air to see a lot of friendly, professional, courteous and caring employees who treat your vehicle as if it's their own. Kudos to Nathan and all of the dudes at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers for taking care of my vehicle, not scratching my rims and treating me like a loyal customer (despite it being my first time here) I shall be back!
