Reached out to Amanda who works above my apartment manager for Alliance management at Youngstown Flats. They just bought out my building recently. I have had no response after a very heart felt and lengthy email addressing a very serious issue. Until I can get this resolved or a response I will continue to email. My unit in my building was an MFTE unit and now the management has decided it isn't anymore and was rented to me by mistake. Now they decided to hike the rent up $600 after putting my 30 day notice in. I am breaking my lease (with plenty of notice) for personal reasons that both last and current management were aware of. I was told the MFTE units rent within weeks because of the high demand so this influenced my decision to leave as well. Now my unit is being marketed way above the income restricted unit price, making it harder to get rented and no response about my circumstances from this company after reaching out. Once I get a response I will edit my review to reflect their decision and response. They will make plenty of money with even the slightest rent increase so why they choose to do this...I don't get it.
