The worst hotel experience I've ever had. I'm a diamond elite member I thoroughly enjoy being with Choice Hotels. I travel a lot for work and when I say a lot, I mean every day of the week except for the weekends. Here is my horror story for my stay with this particular location.
I stayed one night and the next morning my body was all bitten up but at first I didn't think anything of it because I thought there were mosquito bites. I sent a photo to my wife about all the crazy bites I received and she called me in horror stating that those bites are actually bed bugs and to talk to management immediately.
I talked to management expecting a simple apology and refund so I can leave to a cleaner location but instead I was completely disrespected, insulted and yelled at. I was even told that there was nothing I can do about anything. The manager even lied about being the manager. The manager herself told me that she wasn't in when in fact the person i was talking to was the manager. She refuses to give her name and she refused to even give me paperwork for the refund. She even had enough audacity as to accuse me of bringing in the bed bugs. She said I should have complained right when I got there as if bed bugs bite right away and not while you're sleeping.
I really wanted her name so I could complain about her unprofessionalism so I even had my wife call in to get her name. Instead what she did was give an obvious fake name. And then when my wife called a second time to get the manager's name because it was obviously fake she was hung up on. Completely unbelievable. I have never been treated so poorly!
I was not about to let this go! I've never been so disrespected and insulted. I called Choice Hotel customer relations and they couldn't even get her name because she wouldn't even give it to them! This woman is unbelievable.
My advise the manager and the hotel in whole is to treat their customers better and to clean the rooms. Absolutely disgusting and despicable! You should be ashamed of yourself and learn some customer service skills because it's completely lacking here.
Oh, and here's a special message to the manager which I bet will be reading this...You told me there was nothing I can do. I'm doing my best to prove you wrong because no one deserves to have their money taken and be treated as poorly as you've insulted and treated me.
