I've visited the Garage several times since it's in the neighborhood where I live. The first time I came here, I thought it was really good. Each time I've gone back since then, the good impression I had unfortunately keeps going down. Ate dinner here again tonight and needless to say, was quite disappointed. My boyfriend ordered the lamb k-bobs medium well. When they came out, they were rare. Sent them back and they were still raw. He could not eat them as they were not cooked, were chewy and had a lot of gristle, etc. in them. The waiter did not check with us if they were cooked right the second time and he did not care either, which was evident when he picked up the plate which still had most of the food on it and did not say anything.
I had the patty melt which was just okay. The wine was mediocre for the price. Cannot even hold a candle to the wine at Richardson's which is right up the street. The brew fries, chipotle dipping sauce and the pickles were probably the best thing we ate here! Not all the food is bad, but for the prices they charge, it is just not worth it. Very doubtful we'll be going back.
