| - First of all, as mentioned elsewhere, nicest owners ever: I have only met Frank, but he is an incredible guy who will always be interested in chatting, either on your thoughts on the bar/food/etc., or just in general, and has, on occasion, been known to start up the kitchen and cook meals after he has sent his chefs home. For that, and the massive beer selection, this place should be on everyone's must go to list. It is especially great in summer when the back patio is open, a perfect place to eat their cheap, and absurdly huge noodle plates.
The only caveat here is that there is really no middle ground for beers price wise. If you want to just hang out, eat some food and have some beers, you can either spend a fortune on (admittedly great) imports and microbrews, or have slightly overpriced canadian or budwieser. The regular 'good enough' on tap or bottled beers are way too expensive to bother with, so I tend to end up having a St. Peters ale (wonderful british beer) or two for 9$ each, and then leaving or turning to 6$ buds. Not the best place for a long night out, in other words.
