  • Pros: The rooms are big and nicely decorated (aw yes pink and black). They give you new covers for the microphone which is a big plus for hygiene. They have a variety of english songs and asian songs to choose from. The song menu is on a touchscreen and is easy to manage. The sound system is pretty good. Cons: The horrible, nasty, second-hand smoke. The first time I went, it was from 3-7pm and our room was filled with cigarette smell. We thought maybe it was from people who smoked in there the night before and we were probably unlucky since the hall seems fine. However, we went there tonight from 11pm-1am. The room at first was fine. After midnight, our room was gradually filled with second hand smoke coming from other rooms. Yes, other rooms... we got out of there at 1am because it was unbearable and we were suffocating inside the room. It was even getting hard to sing correctly because of the smoke that was getting stronger and stronger. We decided to leave. My friends went to the toilet, but it was impossible for me to wait for them longer in the hallway because the smoke was even stronger there. We ran outside as quickly as possible to get fresh air. Will I go back again? Probably not. I don't smoke and none of my friends are smokers. I don't want to inhale second hand smoke in a closed room for hours and I don't want to get risk increase of lung cancer. It's so unfortunate because this place is actually pretty awesome for karaoke if it wasn't for that.
