This place is literally in the middle of nowhere. But not in a fun, interesting way. More like, why would someone build a tiny garage brewery in front of their house in the middle of Fairview kinda way. Besides that, it feels like some folks trying to make a buck off of the brewery boom in Asheville. Their brewhouse is small, their beers not very good. They have some ok ideas and interesting sounding beers but one sip and you realize it's someone with little knowledge brewing beers that are way over their heads. Second, the woman working the bar was rude and seemed like she rather sit and brag to her friends about the trials and tribulations of running a brewery in such a "cut throat" and having to "battle" the A.L.E. every step of the way. I just wanted to take my family from out of town to a new brewery I heard of but we will not be back, especially with breweries like Whistle Hop near by!
