  • Julia is phenomenal!!! I have very reactive, sensitive skin and after I recently had a microdermabrasion at another place thanks to one of those group buy dealies, I found out how VERY VERY VERY dry my face had become. Now, I didn't think I was going to be a woman who'd be obsessively worried about looking older... but it turns out, I DO!!! (It probably doesn't help that I had my birthday this week.) So I frantically turned to Yelp earlier this week to find a good, affordable esthetician. And lemme tell ya, I found one in Julia. I TOO THANK YOU, YELP! I emailed her and she got back to me right away. We booked for today for a hydrating facial. Someone else talked about her ghost-like hands and that is all I could think about as I lay back and experienced the magic of those hands. She also wrapped my hands in paraffin wax so that my hands were lucky enough to get spoiled, too! After letting her know the problems with my skin, she quickly went to work and not a single product she used reacted with my skin. That is unheard of! I think she put me in a trance because before I knew it, an hour and a half had passed by. She finished with a "Look! Your skin is glowing!" And indeed it is -- something that I've never had happen before. I'm committed to taking better care of my skin from now on, and I now have my anti-aging secret weapon and her name is Julia!
